Allice Springs
I have arrived! After I had expected during my stopover in Cairns, the world silently green rain forests, I reached two hours later, the desert heartland of Australia. Despite over 3kg weight I had to pay extra for my luggage nciht and accordingly a good mood I was on my way to the hostel, better I was told on abgehohlt at the airport and taken there. unfortunately, even though I had booked a bed free! I had been deleted for no apparent reason and entered a day later. I hit the very friendly owner before, my tent in the garden turn over, she said yes, and I got both the night in the tent and the following in rooms for free. Than sorry! Milk and internet included! Since I have been unlucky but once! :) 10 € for three nights!
have today and gestr I then explored the city and the surroundings on foot, saw many kangaroos, erklam felshuegel and spoke with aborigines. (And bought something).
As I had predicted a car sharing is the condition of the aborigines in allice very bad. Although they are friendly, but almost all alcoholics. no matter where one looks, in the district are everywhere, and even in the desert beer cans, wine canister, kleidungssteucke and the like around. ...
My trip to Uluru begins tomorrow at 6, so I quickly into bed times. Love
I'm fine

Lyndsey Down Mc Kenzie
.. and Hokage ....
After I had come through 5 very interesting Carpooling from Bundaberg to Burleigh Waters to Tim, a friend of Tracy, to the Gold Coast, I could hardly my luck here again . take
Tim had set itself the goal to spoil me all around and so I expected here melons and oranges 3kg, Roast pork with all the bells and whistles, Mongolian lamb and other delicacies. Tim, who works on a day to 12 hours, and thus has butcher Zufriff free to protein-rich food sources.
As little tribute I admitted to Tim's garden and disposed of more than a trailer trash. Roxxy, the dog had torn to my delight, a box of 5000 plastic bags in the garden and I went to almost everything.
Jason, who had rioted influence of alcohol in their own home in Bundi and been taken for a night in police custody was, is currently even with Tim for a visit and reminded me that I myself in recent weeks on other people's cost of slightly had let go too well. A slightly bigger Thank You as gardening would be appropriate.
I saw his criticism to be justified, after all, I had spent the past three weeks a cent for something to eat and Tim offered some money. Tim, who is very happy (any neighbor is almost always in the house to steal a beer from the fridge), saw this as totally exaggerated, but left to convince, at least 30 cans of beer to take. I felt after I had Jason's moral speech prepared but a guilty conscience, relieved and reduced my consumption. 3l of milk per day was actually a minimal bit too much.
With everything that needs the physical well-being, cared for, I spent my days with Tim to half on the beach and the other half on the computer to be able to send my scholarship application at last.
On the beach, a 30-minute short hop away, I was practicing in the surf ...... let's say I tried it at least, and finally got used to it, smashed by the slightly over 2m high waves to the ground of being. I had fun anyway!
days ago, finally freed from the paperwork of the scholarship application, I went on a hike through the local National Park. Very nice!
And now my plans:
in about 10 minutes I leave the library, buy Tim a couple of beers, shower, and marching (packed everything already) with my belongings to the highway Brisbane to hitchhike to the airport, sleeping there, fly tomorrow morning at 7 clock to Cairns and after 2-hour stay after Allice Springs, will be there at 1:30 abgehohlt clock at the airport and taken to my room and spend two nights there. On Sunday morning at 6 runs then from my bus and my 3-day tour through the outback, to Kings Canyon and Uluru begins. Wednesday night I will be back in Allison, where students spend one more night, and finally hitchhike on Thursday morning towards south coast. All booked everything planned, but some do it, do not know yet. I'm going for "all"! : D Kind regards
your Timm
Ps: Sorry, that now all in one Tak Tak Tak-rhythm is drawn up. I am a little bit in a hurry. : P

Well, here is another entry in our blog. The last time, did you us to Beyin Beach Resort Persecuted in Ghana, where Daniel has recovered from his malaria successfully.
was about a month after Ghana's time to think about further travel and we have put up one morning, towards Togo.
For a quick stop at the Green Turtle (two nights), we met a cool English Zimbabwean pair (He Englishman) and agreed that maybe we go together through Nigeria. Then we went to Takoradi, where we have our vehicles is a long-deserved Autowaesche indulged:
Tchova in the laundry (so clean he was not even before we left: o)
drove on the same day we were heading to Accra, we were not from a brief stop in Cape Cost (old slave-trading city ) stop and visit the fort and visit the national park. Again a jungle park, but with a very impressive Canopy Walk (suspension bridge in the highest treetops of the jungle)
The old fortress ...
... was well defended!
on the Canopy Walk in the park
lousy high!
drove After an overnight stay at the Hans Cottage Botel, we continue to Accra. Phu, Accra for us was the epitome of an ugly African metropolis! A lot of dirt, a lot of people mad, incomprehensible road rules ...
And to make matters worse we had to stay a few days in Accra to organize the beruechtigterweise not come nearly customizable Nigeria visa!
The arrival in Accra was a lot of stress, procedures, and ask for directions again connected process. But finally we made it a nice guest house to find something outside of the city. From here we took a total of 3 trips to the Nigerian High Commission.
first Tag: There was informed us that copies of the ambassador needs to give us the visa. This list included just about every document that we have here. Of course, in duplicate! (Passport, visa Ghana, Carnet de Passage, the registration card, driver license (national and international), etc ...) made
That same day, we all copies and tried to 14.00 clock again seek out the message. This failed miserably at an empty taxi tank! After stop in the middle of the intersection of love taxi driver drove us (13.50 clock), with the assurance that it was not far off the Virgin Nigeria airline! What Flo had a very tiny little outburst o)
second Day: We made it then all of our copies to the embassy and were promptly served (by the many copies of workers overlooked the good news that we have no, demanded of him for proof of insurance had our car). What brought us to the conclusion that the whole Kopiererei was pure harassment!
third Tag: At last we stopped after an hour of waiting time due to computer failure, a disgustingly expensive (86 U.S. pp) Nigeria visa in my hands!
We only found out at Chez Allison, in Togo to Accra is probably the only capital city with Nigerian Embassy, the visas are provided without the invitation letter. The most difficult visa wars for us was driving taxis. Everything else just time intensive.
had After all the visa history, we definitely enough of the City and Grass together with Daniel and Robert, the shop all the time for Waeschewaschen, Alobartpflegen and Afromoebel verplaemperleten, towards Togo.
The border crossing was in the truest sense of the word an addiction. Even on a dark night, we stood in the midst of the bustle, were bequatscht from all sides and rumkommandiert. At some point there is in his fate and tries to leave the situation, or whatever, to cope with a smile. We succeeded, after a short "come-down" phase quite well and after about 2 hours we were in Togo.
were taken after an overnight ride through Lome before we Chez Allison, a small cozy Campement which by a very impressive led Swiss (Allison) is, who has lived 30 years in Togo.
We had then our final farewell to Daniel, Robert and Alobart. A little sad we are, spending time with them was great!
We now stay a few days in Lomé, do things like Waeschewaschen, Visumverlaengern, Tchovapflegen, diesel filters Search, etc.
look then we Togo still a little more closely and hope that we meet Ant and Nici back to the infamous Nigerian to go through together.

After an overnight campsite on a very simple and morgentlichen Hypo tour we wanted to go look in the tourist-must-not the famous' waterfalls nearby.
from laziness, we wanted to take the direct trail to the falls, rather than the easier route over the main road (medium size detour). This, however, turned out to be quite impossible for Alobart because the slopes are extremely narrow and sometimes very unvertrauenserweckende; led o) bridges. Daniel and Flo are then drove Tchova, Sarah and Robert went back to Banfora, a bigger Place on the main road, where there is even a small restaurant called McDonald (the burger is not great, but to recommend the pepper steak very!)
full Tourimaessig Daniel and Flo then made the waterfall one-hour tour, a few pictures shot and are zurueckgeduest to meet the others.

in, out, back ... After the falls we have again met with Sarah and Robert are back on to Ouagadougou and Bobo direction.
Halfway to Ouaga we have set up our bush camp. Sarah's was pretty bad and now Flo had slow shit that it is malaria.
Are So we test upon arrival in Ouagadougou (again at the Catholic Mission) went to a clinic to Sarah on malaria ...
was Luckily's "just" a virus ...
The remaining time in Ouagadougou, we get buy with Ghana visa and taken other Reisealltagsbeschaeftigungen. From
Ouaga then went directly run to the border with Ghana.
And here we had our first really laboriously border:
Robert had said he was not Alobart Carnet de Passage (international customs document) it has overwhelmed the Ghanaian Zoellner pretty. First it was said: "without carnet, no entry possible," then "they must find an insurance policy to them a guarantee for the event that they sell the car before duty in Ghana issues. Where
man for so finds an insurance? ... "Back there's an office ..."
After much back and forth, including an overnight stay in Burkina-Ghana-man's-land (had fine spaghetti bolognese for dinner) Robert was then still an insurance policy that he has a Pseudobuergschaft.
One note: "in Africa's for everything a solution, even though there's no official. The only criterion is time, patience and always a smile on his lips: o) "
match, a quote from Reto Braunschweiler:" You can demonstrate this with a smile, the teeth (this attitude has helped us in the meantime very much, thank Reto;. o))
Finally, all ready with the Ghanaian Zollbuerokratie we went on to a bigger city Tamale in northern Ghana. Could stand there in a Catholic guest house and took us for a shower and toilet for a fourth room.
Sarah had always to fight with the virus and then we decided, as soon as possible to drive to the coast. Many travelers we met on the road For some reasons we have a beautiful campsite on the coast told, the Green Turtle Lodge. And since we were told as soon as possible out of a few days to take a vacation.
The drive from Tamale to the scenic coast was very impressive. In northern Ghana Running changing mainly through bush and grassland, and the further south you go, the more the vegetation towards forest. This also makes it extremely difficult to set up camp in a bush because you can never get away from the main road. For this reason, we felt compelled our resting place to pitch on the way to the coast at a gas station. Not the most romantic thing you can imagine, but in the end it was funny. Had funny conversations with the night watchman, who made no move without his sawed off shotgun ...
The next day we went to Dixcove arrived a small fishing village from which runs a pretty bumpy dirt road, about 10 km, the Green Turtle Lodge.
We were not promised too much, the course is unique among the palm trees, overlooking the sea. Camping costs as incredibly affordable 2 GHC (Ghana cedis) per person, the equivalent of about 2 CHF (Swiss francs, o)). The food is excellent, especially the french fries and swordfish. After a few days have
relaxing on the beach we decided together to lay to our travel community (and Alobart Tchova) for a certain time to wiedermal some time with him to enjoy themselves and travel companion. Tchova was therefore continue at the Green Turtle and Alobart went with Daniel and Robert towards Jungle National Park.
The Green Turtle is under overlanders best-kept secrets and you meet several interesting Transafrica drivers of all categories. From the super-developed truck, with shower and toilet, and simple Toyota driver (Tchova o)) to the Luxushylux (including Toyota) by a couple from Monaco.
With Patrick and Catherine (also in a Mercedes 911 on the way), we quickly became friends and even cooked a few times together. For Sarah finally a woman to chat! What they thoroughly enjoyed!
Another highlight of the Green Turtle is that this beach, all Years of sea turtles lay their eggs is visited and Flo had an early morning even the opportunity, the newly hatched turtles in their dangerous way from the nest back into the sea to beobachten.Hier the most beautiful impressions from the Green Turtle:

After about 2 weeks relaxing in the Green Turtle, we have again met with Daniel to put together again (for Daniel) to go into the jungle, the Ankasa National Park.
As an old jungle expert Daniel wanted us to actually show how they think they are as light as a gazelle "is moving in the jungle. Unfortunately, he was just sick when we arrived at Base Camp! We all suspected it was a Food poisoning or a stomach flu. Since it the whole time was bad. Sarah and Flo took therefore two smaller tours through the jungle and let Daniel rest.

Well, after two nights in the jungle Daniel's condition deteriorating and we are a bit broken ueberstuerzt to bring him to a hospital.
The first clinic, where we have tried it had closed on Saturday!
We then found more or less by accident to a hospital in a small town on the coast, which is headed by German physicians (This is what we have but only found out later). Who was at an African hospital can imagine about how long it takes to get to a doctor finally comes ... after 3 hours of waiting, up and down running around then stood down the diagnosis: Malaria!
Robert at the time was still at the Green Turtle, came immediately to us, as he had about our SMS Daniels received condition.
Our patient had to stay overnight in the hospital and received 2 full quinine infusions. On the second day, Daniel was then released and we went together about 16 km to the west, where there is a beautiful beach resort. Here we rented a bungalow for Daniel so he could recover quickly.

Finally a new entry!
Sunset on the Siedlersbruecke
In the following days I'm here from fishing boat went to fishing boat and asked for work, because the job situation in Bundy is currently really miserable, but won no ACHIEVEMENTS . Instead, I worked with Shaun in Primrose in the garden, dragged around boulders and arranged them, got out of tree stumps, weeds and weed with Shaun built a new fence made of old boards. With Tracy, I ran the household, went for a walk with the dog, was preparing my Valentine's package and played Lego with the children.
carved itself:)
came on a Thursday Tim, a friend of Tracy, who lives on the Gold Coast to visit and we took the morning after 1770, the little place in the Thomas Cook landed just 1770th
afternoon we celebrate Russell's birthday, he got Lego of me. Hmm .. I love the Russell something very dear to his heart, he finally called me "Dad"
.
Here is being unveiled in the Geburtstagseisbombe .......
here are a large part of the Geburtstagsgaeste at a glance: from left Jason with baby, Tim, grandfather Puppy, Sam, Shaun, Tracy, Stephen on Sony's lap and Tedd
day I visited with Matthew's Primary School to get an insight into the Australian school system. Morning, the national anthem was sung, the grades 1,2 & 3 were taught in a room once a week were diligent Students honored, and I got a birthday boy of the month January, congratulations, and was photographed.
It helped me a lot of fun to teach the children something, especially those children who were unable to cope not with the teacher asked soon-stop for me:).
Wonderful, what more could you want!
I had always something to do and yet I had to get to the real purpose of my trip besinnnen: Travelling!
So I contacted the Nelson family in Rockhampton, me on my way to Rainbow Beach Bundy had taken and to be invited. Of Rockhampton from then I wanted to Uluru and then to Perth ...
So I set out last Monday after I had once gone with Primrose and Edgar at Szissler food, according to the way Rockhampton.
Edgar sat down by mistake at the wrong end from the city, provided that my sign saying "Rockhampton" in most drivers for amusement.
A song in my head and a smile on his face I was happy about the ueberdurchschittliche gaiety of drivers on that rainy Monday morning.
An already delayed by a teacher explained to me and finally brought down at the other end of town, where I was after a few minutes on the roadside a real estate agent junior recorded. This brought me to the highway in Gin Gin. Near the point where I had We slept a few months ago with Arttu in the tent behind the gas station, I waited for the next ride.
A horse trainer, who studied at the wheel of either horse magazines and websites have mercy on his mobile phone, showed and we stowed my luggage in the trailer together in a separate area of the horses.
It was difficult to keep this quite interesting, but rather silent contemporaries in good spirits and as soon saw only the defective super shift knob (with which you can access despite fuenftgaengigem shift gears on the 6-10) for entertainment. The horse trainer wanted do not have it true that the 10th passage was not available (which naturally cost of fuel) and Improvement in helpless and angry outbreaks, with his fist on the little button. This was largely unimpressed with these regular "repair attempts" the good-hearted horse trainer kahm but each time against the lever for the windshield wipers so that they reflect the other road users also receive waved during the rain-free minutes of our trip cheerful.
arrived in Rockhampton, I moved my pieces of luggage from the shit. The partition between the horses and my luggage did not quite reach the floor. The roller coaster ride did the rest and so I saw after a short forced adoption, the nearby be gas station to pay a visit and grab some toilet paper. purified Provisionally, I waddled with my 3420 things towards Wisemanstreet 38, uphill in a wealthy residential area.

A taxi driver saw me suffer, I got a free ride to the house that his Navi beautiful as Wisemanstreet anzeigte.Sehr 38.
