Dear all remaining home
Well, lack a good Internet connection in Timbuktu now follows the same as the second entry in our blog. Meanwhile, we are already in Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. But as always, first time in sequence! So was
to Timbuktu, which is not mentioned as was the absolute screamer we continue towards Dogon country. We do not go to the very interesting history of the Dogon and Telem. Who cares, which is one hours googling and read about the very peoples to heart.
Since the Dogon country is now very touristy, we had on the trip to the Dogon Center (Sanga) some problems, all of which are largely self-appointed guides to get rid of.
needed is such a guide, because actually as Toubabu (White) no chance to come into the villages. In Sanga have finally found after a crash Oh, and a good guide, and with this a day hike in the Falaises (hmm, what is the name which the in German?, our Larousse says Felsriff ...) gemacht.Atemberaubende landscape very interesting stories and exciting villages we were . marvel Here are some impressions:
Telem dwellings in the rock wall
Small Inset:
The Dogon are as I understand it migrated in the third century from the area south of Bamako, and have settled in present-day Dogon Country. There was already a people ansa vinegar, the Telem, who lived mainly by hunting. The Dogon (so said our guide Dogon) have now found that with hunting and can not collect two peoples are nourished and have started farming. The forest was cleared and had soft fields, whereby the Wild Animals (Remember the life of the Telem) also disappeared. The Telem wanted to adapt their Lebendart not (our guide) and have realized that they had to get away ....
are now the Telem dwellings in the middle of the cliff most part empty, meisst reason that the Dogon their dead in the old Telembauten burial ...
The Telem by the Dogon cherished, but the fact that their buildings today, all looted are (there are always people who want to sell you old Telem bronze sculptures), the picture blurs a bit ...
So, now again a couple of nice pictures:

So, now again a couple of nice pictures:
pitched roof = memory, the smallest the woman, the great for the Family. Per woman (up to 4) a memory
Palaverplatz (Schlichtungsort disputes) the overall height is about half a man's height. Reason: any rival must be a first act of humility in order to enter the Palaverplatz. (First Stressbewaeltigung) also prevents the low overall height that Streithaelse go easy on the throat.

After some Days relaxing and beautiful walk we head towards Burkina Faso. Of the Falaises

After passage of the mountain went further direction on a sandy slope limit to Burkina Faso. We have some small Dogondoerfer through, and drive around, because the truck has not fit some of our friends. In
Koro We then have done the Ausreiseformalitaeten of Mali and then in the intermediate border with Burkina (12 km long strip) spent the night.
The entry on 31.12.2008 was unspectacular in Burkina up to the fact that we have received only a 5-day visa. This we could not Renew relatively easily in Ouagadougou.
arrived in Ouagadougou, we wanted to find a nice campsite (we had expected a quiet, shady place with a direct connection for Disco New Year). A French couple (with 3 children), which we had already met in Bamako, then gave us the hint that you can in the Cathedral of Ouagadougou, spend the night with the sisters. When we finally found the Kathedrele, gabs with the Sisters no place, only for the brothers. And because wars only half as beautiful ...
Well, we thought, in the guide books is a camping, because we could at least make Ramba Zamba-New Year's Eve. So we set off into the dusk again and have of course moved hopeless ... with the help of 2 (more) or less friendly moped drivers, we finally found the campsite, hidden behind a lorry park directly run next to the biggest main street ...
Another long Hinn and forth ... and we're back again (to the brothers content) where it's at least quiet ... was
When driving around inOuaga we have then the following Parkiervirtuosen seen o)

Well, New Year, we have to find a cozy bar, or affordable Disco quite missed. The fireworks of a 5-star hotels gave us then pointed out that it is time to wish for "guaets Neus. Well, now we laugh about it but there we were both a little homesick ... In Ouagadougou, we have spent a lot of time. Our roof tent had to be repaired (cracks in Plane and Moskitoseitenaufklappabdeckteil "), our rescue belt was the Second Time to be stitched and Tchova thirsting for a new oil change.

After 6 nights Ouagadoudou we continue to Bobo Dioulasso. After one wild camping in the midst of dense bush, we arrived in Bobo, although the second largest city of Burkina Bobo is relatively quiet and the people more relaxed and less intrusive when it comes to guiding and selling souvenirs.
Tchova made us on the way to make something Bobo: "Kuehlwasserinkontinenz! A Funny Frenchman (with Swiss-fire-truck on the road) has given us a good mechanic recommended. This has me then proposed to develop the whole cooler to find the possible leak. Thank God, Flo then the thing itself again looked and found that the acute incontinence is due to a tired Kuehlerschlauch terminal. Second on it terminal, and is good ... I hope so: o)
So if you all read this, we have in Bobo found a fast internet connection; o)
Stay tuned wishes us Kuehlerdicht and until next MalSarah and Flo in Bobo
