Story:
When Paul Conroy (Ryan Reynolds) wakes up, he lies in a wooden coffin. He palpated a lighter and looks around, to quickly determine that there is no obvious way out for him. The air is tight, the lighter also consumes oxygen, and his cries for help remain as futile as his attempts to fight by blows and kicks a way out. Suddenly a cell phone rings, but that is already silenced, when he finally finds it. He draws hope and type the emergency number one. The woman at the other end, he tells his story: he is a truck driver for the company CRT in Iraq and was lured into an ambush. His colleagues were shot and he ended up in this prison. But can the police in the U.S. do not help him and his wife answers the phone. When the phone rings again, his kidnapper's turn: within less than three hours should be paid a ransom of five million dollars for him. The kidnappers want him to have shot a video in which he asks for the ransom. Initially streubt Paul, because it seems even the FBI, despite the phone not being able to locate. But time and oxygen are becoming increasingly scarce ...

The Movie:
The film was shot in just 17 days in Barcelona. Inspiration came from the films of Alfred Hitchcock.
The total action takes place in a small wooden coffin in which Paul Conroy is buried. Also, the audience sees only as much as the protagonist, so that at times there is complete darkness. One hears and sees only 90 minutes, which also sees the main character.

horror clown's opinion:
When you hear that one is just about to € 8 for a movie to spend, in the one minute short 90th only one and the same actors and darkness itself, a slight doubts. But since I am a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds did was I thinking it's not sooo bad are likely. Elaborate. The film starts with min just 10th Delay, it's already bored I slide deeper into the seat and hope that these three are Spacken would be behind me in the coffin, which I knew so far only from billboards ago.
The light goes out, the curtain moves on and the projector. I think so clearly I've never heard a projector in a cinema. God had put the film back, softly but again the star of the projector. As I said projector goes to what we see? Nothing. What we hear? Nothing ... stop but I think there waiting for someone breathing. Yeah Yeah finally starts the film. What followed was a claustrophobic minimalist film, an actor with only one set. Thank god Reynolds one of the best newcomers, for if the actor would have been bad the movie you can kloppen in the bin. The claustrophobic aspect in this movie, so I think at least, arise in every human anxiety and discomfort. You take from Ryan Reynolds and every second that he fear of death and the most tragic and depressing place for me, was the one in which Paul Conroy is calling his mother with dementia in nursing homes for one last time with her to talk. Well back to a conclusion. Ryan Reynolds is doing more than fine, in my opinion, even Oscar-Reif but, for all I was doing in the meantime very easy on the nerves it over and over just to Conroy is a good thing but a script.
What's left to say about this movie?
Buried is a very exciting and claustrophobic film, with a Reynolds you got the acting was in this form have NEVER seen. Cortés has created a subtle thriller, one has seen yet not so. Buried is definitely the surprise of the year and whoever of you like to once again want to experience a subtle tension apprehensively appearance should be buried and to increase the voltage to the movies definitely ! Go
From me it Buried so . A higher rating only because I verwähre him because in places it was simply too much at once Reynolds.
